How to use this tool?

Note: Before using this tool I would like to tell you that this tool is based on the GPA/CGPA table given below (but not limited to 5 credit hours. It is dynamic and can even accept 100 as credit hours and will work 100% fine, but no book has that much credit hours). :-)

GPA Table for converting grade point average to 4.0 scale

Click on the number of books to fill the box next to it. Write number of books you want to calculate GPA/CGPA for. After feeding it with the number of books click on 'generate form' or just hit 'enter' button on keyboard.

A new form will be generated according to the number of books. You can write credit hours of book and marks obtained in the respective fields. After filling out all the fields properly and making sure there is no mistake in the obtained marks and credit hours, just hit enter or click on the "Calculate GPA and show result card" button. You'll have your GPA/CGPA and result card which will have quality points of all the books separately written in the form of a table.

What is the difference between GPA and CGPA?

GPA (Grade Point Average): Sum of all the quality points divided by the credit hours for books/course of one semester.

CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point average): Sum of all the quality points divided by total credit hours of the books/courses of more than one semester.

How to find CGPA by using this tool?

Just add details of books/courses of previous semesters too, you'll get CGPA calculated with a smart result card :-).

Is it accurate?

I think it is. Test it out by feeding it previous semester's marks.

Found an error?
